Regularly, I Siwis Hotel and Dubai, but but this year I don’t have good experience. I reserve hotel by 19th of August for stay tonight for Family with full breakfast and Taxi to drap airport for £165 but when my families arrive it hotel he or she cancel my reservations put in new new booking charge me £200 and plus no breakfast and no Taxi to drop the airport that’s why I don’t like the service

We stayed at a previous hotel that had exceptional standards of service and so perhaps we were spoilt, and the benchmark of expectations had been set high, but with in mind everything at the Swissotel was ok and fine, nothing spectacular to report and no major complaints. We booked the kids family room, so we were excepting the duvets and pillows to look a bit more like the picture as opposed to the normal standard room, however that’s a small detail in the larger scheme of things. Nobody showed us to our room or around our room, so we remained completely unaware of facilities, amenities such as coffee machine, tv, etc., and hence didn’t use them. The room was nice, wonderful view out of the window. Really pleased with the room sizes, so that was a definite plus. The only negative that comes to mind is that the shower water would get extremely hot. I did raise it with the very nice maintenance man who visited, but unfortunately there wasn’t anything he could do, other than advise on opening with colder water and making small adjustments every 30 seconds, to try and get the right temperate. Despite that advice, the shower water would get scolding hot and so taking a shower was rather a quick affair, than a relaxing one. The sauna and steam room were located in the changing room facility, it could be improved by perhaps introducing a more pleasant smell and a general tidy up. The hotel staff were reasonably friendly and polite, breakfast was ok, quite busy, but perfectly fine. Location is excellent, on top of the mall and in Deira. Getting a taxi proved to be a small issue at peak times, but otherwise fine. I think with family it’s actually the ideal location, as you can always go in the mall when it’s too hot to be outside. Checkout was very nice, quick and easy and unlike when we arrived the bag trolley person was very quick to respond and kindly took our bags down, and helped call a taxi. A big Thank you to him for making that a really easy process.
