The hotel was lovely, my room and view were beautiful. However the policies for credit when you don't get your room cleaned need to be addressed. The man at checkout was very rude to everyone checking out, and argued with each person. Everyone was told a different policy on the $10/day credit for not having your room cleaned. We all received charges on our bill that we shouldn't have received. The man checking us out tried to not let any of us see the bill, just told us we were free to go without even asking our room numbers. When we demanded to see the bill, we found charges that went against what we were told for those $10 credits. Some he waived, some he would not. Each of us were told different policies on how we could use the credits (some people told it was use it or lose it, some told it was accumulated through the week, some people were allowed to use it at the shop behind registration, some were told they could only use it at the bar). The policy should be posted where people can read it and it should be the same for everyone. Also, there is no area at the hotel to sit and relax outside your room unless you're in the bar and making a purchase. There should be some extra areas with tables and chairs for people to bring in food and eat but don't want to eat in the room.

My room was located right behind the elevator shaft. This makes it impossible to sleep because each time the elevator went by it sounded like a plane approaching. The air vents would rattle. Even late at night this would happen every few minutes. I called and asked to be moved and was quickly accommodated w/o issue. I was happy with the solution, but the rooms next to the elevator shaft needs a warning about the noise level.

The first room we were assigned was still dirty. The bathroom floor and sink were visably dirty, so we got a new room. This one was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable! The tv was a nightmare-can any hotel figure this out? Room service was fast, and decent food. Annoying that u cannot order alcohol to the room when u have to over 21 to book the hotel room

The only issue I experienced while a guest was the elevator wasn't working. I picked up the phone located near the elevator and the front desk informed me the location of the staff elevator that was working.
